About Tim Houston
Tim believes that a balanced live is better than a simple life, and family and friends are more valuable than fame or fortune.
Tim has served in Christian ministry for over 25 years throughout the U.S., Japan and Korea, where he also served in the U.S. Marines. He offers spiritual insight into developing healthy relationships, emotional maturity, stability and why men cheat.
His first book, Study to Be Quiet, guides the reader in how to create the right environment to hear from God, especially during times of crisis. Men are Dirt, his second book, shares a male perspective on romantic relationships and offers relationship advice grounded by Biblical examples.
Tim is also a motivational speaker on a wide variety of topics. He leads group discussions and presents at groups large and small, often in ministry settings.
Tim’s weekly columns on relationships, dating and life appear at Insight News.
Tim grew up in Saginaw, Michigan, and currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota, near his four children and ten grandchildren. He is a member of the Greater Saint Paul Church of God in Christ.
